Residence Life

If you are living on campus during the academic year there are a lot of UIndy staff members here to help insure your time on campus is enjoyable. Whether you have questions about housing and meal plans, or you need help working through a specific problem, the residence life staff is here for you!

Residence Life Office

The Residence Life Office is located in Schwitzer 210 and is open from 8am – 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday.

Living Learning Communities

UIndy offers several close-knit living learning communities that offer you the chance to live with students in the same major or affiliation: Engineering, Nursing, Honors College, or Umoja Scholars.

Be sure you always have your Student ID with you, otherwise you will not be able to get into your Residence Hall.

Resident Assistants (RAs)

Your Resident Assistant (RA) is a great resource, and can get you connected with campus life and various resources at UIndy. RA’s are also available to assist you with any concerns you may have about your Residence Hall. There is at least one Resident Assistant per floor, so be sure to meet yours when you move-in!

Residence Directors (RDs)

Your Residence Hall Director (RD) is a full-time, professional staff member who lives in the residence hall. They have posted office hours if you ever need to speak with them. Make sure to meet your RD when you move-in!
